1. Purpose

The safety of our crews, our clients, and the public is a top priority at I&G Construction Services LLC. This Site Safety and Client Conduct Policy establishes expectations for all parties involved in or around an active work site. By engaging our services, the Client agrees to comply with and support the requirements outlined herein.

2. Active Work Site — Access Restrictions

⚠ An active construction site is a hazardous environment. Unauthorized access by Clients, family members, guests, or any other persons is strictly prohibited during active work hours without prior arrangement and Company supervision.

The Company assumes no liability for injury, death, or property damage sustained by any person who enters the work site without authorization. This includes:

  • Children, minors, and pets — who must remain clear of the work area at all times.
  • Guests, neighbors, or uninvited third parties.
  • The Client themselves, if entering active work areas without notifying the crew.

If you need to access an area where work is actively occurring, please notify the lead crew member before entering so appropriate precautions can be taken.

3. Hazard Disclosure Requirement

Prior to work commencing, the Client must disclose in writing any known or suspected hazards on or near the property, including but not limited to:

  • Underground utilities, buried lines, irrigation systems, or septic components.
  • Structural weaknesses, rot, or instability in existing structures connected to the work area.
  • Known environmental hazards (lead paint, asbestos, mold, etc.) in areas adjacent to the work.
  • Aggressive animals on the property.
  • Any easements, encroachments, or property line disputes that could affect the work.

The Company is not liable for damage or delays resulting from undisclosed hazards. The Client may be held responsible for costs incurred by the Company as a result of hazards not disclosed at the time of estimate.

4. Children & Pets

Children and pets must be kept away from all active work areas throughout the duration of the project. Construction sites contain open trenches, power tools, heavy equipment, sharp materials, exposed fasteners, and other serious hazards. The Client accepts full responsibility for ensuring children and animals under their care do not enter the work zone.

The Company reserves the right to pause work if children or animals are present in the immediate work area and posing a safety risk, until the situation is resolved.

5. Property & Vegetation

The Client is responsible for removing, relocating, or protecting personal items, plants, outdoor furniture, or decorations near the work zone prior to the project start date. The Company will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary damage but cannot be held responsible for items left within the work area.

Normal and unavoidable incidental effects of construction — including minor lawn rutting from equipment, dust, noise, and temporary disruption to landscaping — are not compensable under any claim against the Company.

6. Client Conduct & Respectful Workplace

I&G Construction Services LLC is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional work environment. The Client and any persons on their behalf agree to:

  • Treat all Company employees and subcontractors with courtesy and respect.
  • Refrain from directing, instructing, or interfering with crew members while work is in progress. All project communication should go through the Company representative or project lead.
  • Not photograph or record Company employees without consent.
  • Refrain from threatening, harassing, or abusive behavior of any kind.

The Company reserves the right to immediately suspend work and vacate the site — without penalty or refund obligation — if any Company personnel are subjected to unsafe, threatening, or abusive conditions by the Client or any person acting on the Client’s behalf.

7. Site Security During the Project

The Company may store materials, tools, or equipment on-site overnight during multi-day projects. The Client agrees to:

  • Not move, use, or tamper with Company materials, tools, or equipment.
  • Provide reasonable security conditions (fencing, gates, or covered storage) if required for high-value materials.
  • Notify the Company immediately of any theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity near stored materials.

The Company is not responsible for theft of materials from the job site. Replacement of stolen materials will be billed to the Client at cost if reasonable site security was not maintained.

8. Work Hours

Standard work hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Company may adjust hours as needed due to weather, permit requirements, or other project conditions. Sunday or holiday work requires advance written agreement by both parties.
